More folly isn't welcomed.

To find out what it is NOT! No again. To say -- going forward, --- or as Bob O'Connor would say --- on the right road -- presents 360-degrees as options. Go in any direction and you might be 'right' -- or you might be wrong.

When you don't know where you want to go, anywhere is okay. That's true O'Connor and Shields' logic.

To find out what it is "NOT" takes too much time. Too many will die by then.

Oh well. Kraus can stick to new graffiti work all day long -- if he was part of public works.Mark Rauterkushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17157914569686528007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588280325775325323.post-53852230518594703022008-04-02T14:43:00.000-04:002008-04-02T14:43:00.000-04:00Council is fighting back for a change! This is go...Council is fighting back for a change! This is good news.

Some of the newbies are stumbling a bit in their rush to tackle the issues? And some of the first issues they're tackling aren't the biggest ones? Like our shaky pension fund, our $2 Billion debt, world peace and global pollution?

Good Lord, lets cut them some slack and cheer the efforts they are making. These are people who have stepped up to the plate when they were needed most.

I thank them .... daily.Charhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06725494226277483936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588280325775325323.post-57684787229993400242008-04-02T11:14:00.000-04:002008-04-02T11:14:00.000-04:00MR: "Absurd Q: Kraus running for mayor in 2009?"A...MR: "Absurd Q: Kraus running for mayor in 2009?"

As Doug Shields would say, first we're just trying to figure out what it's NOT.Bram Reichbaumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05620172942925293407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588280325775325323.post-48568626781935007742008-04-02T09:06:00.000-04:002008-04-02T09:06:00.000-04:00I'm with Kraus on the graffiti issue. Graffiti is ...I'm with Kraus on the graffiti issue.

Graffiti is unacceptable in any form. There is no such thing as a graffiti "artist" - only vandals. Some of our judges are far too lenient on the issue. Anyone caught should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588280325775325323.post-88981047782006577062008-04-02T08:56:00.000-04:002008-04-02T08:56:00.000-04:00Absurd Q: Kraus running for mayor in 2009?Bram, yo...Absurd Q: Kraus running for mayor in 2009?

Bram, your 'blogger guild' press pass privileges have been suspended for the next 5 minutes.

KRAUS is always "overlanguaged" and without completed "homework."

Radio news says the measure gives council time to write tighter rules. Well Kraus can NOT be in that process "at the end of day, if you will."

The technology in the industry is moving "lightening fast" -- so -- Kraus says STOP. Hint: Do NOT take a 'break' so as to play 'catch up.'

Duhh.

If Kraus wants to have a conversation with all the sign companies in the city then he needs to call and hold that meeting. Do it. Don't wait.

The ones that litter the landscape more than the sign companies are the politicians with their 'litter on a stick' (Ferlo's words) paid for by union donors.

Kraus floated an 'illegal' bill that "may have been construed to forbid what are in fact permitted uses." Kraus is great a making additional red tape.

That's the WRONG way.

To waive rule 8 to 'ponder' for the councilman is typical from Kraus Rule 8 screws the citizens. Rule 8 isn't about council critters that can't think on their feet nor do their homework in a speedy fashion. Again, when something does need to move quickly -- Kraus becomes a time sink and slow poke.

Kraus delivers: "You know, honestly, I haven't had a chance to take a look at that yet."

Tips to Mr. Kraus:
1. Do your best to say as little as possible.
2. Get out of the way as much as possible.
3. Do your homework. (hint: Legislation matters.)Mark Rauterkushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17157914569686528007noreply@blogger.com
