Pittsburgh played an important role not just in the software world but also architecture. Jobs wanted to have his NeXT HQ in Pittsburgh at Software Engineering Institute (I was Project Architect at BCJ for the project). This relationship grew from Pittsburgh Office of BCJ to include Pixar and Apple Stores. His passion and vision:
