  4. I hope there is a recount. Matt H said Coghill would take this away. He's never wrong, eh?

Does this end the Hoagie's political consulting career?

  6. Im glad it is over....Reilly did his very best. Too bad he didn't have the money to pay out to walkers.....he did the door knocking himself. Oh well, Goodluck Natali.

  7. Reilly did do his best. Let's just be thankful that he did not have a good campaign manager like Coghill.

That's a joke and it's ohhhh so funny.

  8. Posted without comment from CP's Chris Potter:

"The winner in that race was Natalia Rudiak, who ran a hell of a smart race -- and whose rivals ran incredibly dumb ones."

  9. I'll comment on Chris Potter's comments- Right on!!

    And still too too funny.

Coghill's campaign manager did him in. What a pompous ass.

  10. Coghill - 3rd place. Just where he belongs.

  11. Coghill is always in 3 place. And he just lost for the third time!!!

  12. Coghill and Pittsburgh Hoagie - Great campaign guys! Even if you are a bunch of losers.

  13. It's a good thing Coghill did not quit his dayjob.

  14. Ya, the only thing he gave up is his pride.

  15. If Reilly is out of the race Coghill wins in a landslide. If Coghill is out of the race Reilly wins in a landslide. That's a fact.

She was the benefit of a perfect storm.

  16. "That's a fact."

The fact is that good candidates know how to put together a winning campaign that can respond to a changing political landscape and can figure out a way to earn a more votes than any other candidate.

Natalia was an outstanding candidate who ran a fantastic campaign, and I, for one, applaud her.

Good luck, Natalia! You deserve your victory.

  17. I sincerely hope that bone-headed buffoon Anthony Coghill has by now made so many enemies through his unethical if not illegal political tactics that not only does no one ever consider voting for him should he improvidently decide to run again, but also that no one even consider buying a roof from him! Imagine a ROOFER committing intentional zoning violations on his own property in an effort to gain some sort of political advantage. Well, Tony, I for one am very pleased that all those hundreds of ordinance-violating campaign posters in your yard did little more than underscore what a narcissistic ass you truly are! Considering that you would never get any vote from any of the smart set who thrust Natalia to victory, and that the vast majority of Patrick's supporters would throw their support behind Natalia even if you ran against her alone, just stick to violating zoning ordinances through your life's work. Do the math. Game OVER!!!

  18. I thought putting way, way too many yard signs on one's own front lawn was cool. Not all zoning code violations are malicious. So long as the noncompliance was abated, no harm no foul.

Lovely speech, Anon 4:52. Getting tired of the mean-spirited Coghill bashing, but you made it through on style points.

  19. What did Coghill do that was illegal? lol Who cares about how many yard signs were in someones yard. I have 3-5 every election season.

I doubt this ordinance could actually be enforced because of freedom of expression.

I dare the city to try and tell people how many yard signs they can have.

  20. I agree with that last comment about the yard signs and the city trying to enforce that.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hey, I'm not sure it's not enforceable, and maybe it should be! I'm just saying let's not throw him up against the wall.

For those of you interested in this race, the Slag Heap has a brand new campaign finance analysis by geography.

You know .. just call 311 and complain and poof! no complaint! And high fives all around.

    That's the way it's done.
